There are about 1.5million cases per year in Nigeria. Mouth words, which include canker sores, are usually a minor irritation and last a week or two. In some cases, they can indicate mouth cancer or infectiongrom a virus eh herpes simplex.

Common Cause of the mouth sores are:

11. Celiac Disease

12. Pemphigus Vulgaris

13. Mouth Burn

14. Bruising Teeth Harshly

16. Reaction to Some Drugs

Home Remedies:

1. Avoid hot, spicy or salty foods as this can aggravate it

2. Avoid tobacco and alcohol

3. Gargle with salt and water

4. Eat cold foods or ice

5. Take pain reliever like paracetamol

6. Apply a paste of baking soda and water (also heard about tooth paste, still researching on it)

7. Gently dab on it hydrogen peroxide and water I’m the ratio of 1:1

If the home remedies do not work, do not hesitate to visit a pharmacist or health provider who might prescribe pain relievers, anti bacterial or anti fungal, immune boosters and may refer one for durter clinical diagnosis (could be mouth cancer biopsy)
So that’s all we can say for today.
